The Women & AI Harms Map

Put the map to work
with your AI.

Sixteen categories of harm, evidence ratings, known counters, and open questions. Use the map to examine what is happening in your own work.

Some findings are established. Others need further research. The map makes those distinctions explicit, including where a reliable counter is still needed.

See it. Assess it. Navigate it.

See where a harm may be showing up in your work. Assess the evidence, its impact, and the available counters. Choose your response: rework, a prompt, instructions, a skill, an agent, or a harness upgrade. Where a counter is still missing, weigh your options and decide how to carry on.

On the Record

Your experience
can help shape
the research.

What were you trying to do? What did the AI do? What did it cost you in time, work, or opportunity?

Share what you are comfortable sharing. Laurie will review the account for possible inclusion in the map and research counts. You can describe a pattern, a single incident, or a counter you tried.

Each submitted account is saved with your permission choices. Laurie reviews accounts, groups recurring experiences, and checks for duplicates before reporting counts. Experiences beyond the current map help identify gaps for further research.
